    Morning may have broken when he recorded this, but darkness fell quickly when he embraced Islam. So sad to see a talented musician go down the drain. Lennon was another one. It has rightly been said "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions." 99% of readers will hate this comment but that's your problem. Truth normally hurts and is often unbearable. This never changes.

    I don't care about the institutions of all relegions. But to me God is Love. He's my inspiration in life and he will always be by my side. How we call God ("The Lord", "Allah", "Jahweh" is just a difference of language en the culture in wich we were raised.

    Hey, the truth is out there.  The POPE declared it. LOVE is God, not religion.

    I wish my dad lived to see the Church finally tell the truth! It was so painful for him, having grown up with the Time Life Religion series. The stepmonster gave away his library!...grrrr! He was devout and it was against logic to me. He said if I ever wanted to read the Bible, read Douay Rhymes, not the King James bible of slavery. I got it on iPad free, just in case, to do comparisons. BAD storytelling in KJV!
