Today's edition of Coffee with... will be a double dose, if you will. We've had some troubles in recent days with our YouTube uploads and we're starting this week a day late.
First up, we've got Mr. Don Brown, who joins our hostess, Robyn Lea, at the Highway 61 Coffee House to talk about his job as the Warren County Director of Warren-Yazoo Mental Health Service (www.Warren-Yazoo.org), his life outside of work and his 29 years of wedded bliss.
Don details some new programs that WYMHS has instituted and how the organization grew from a small office in the old Mercy Hospital building to the campus that is home to them now. He talks about the new "Tele-Psychiatry" program and discusses how it has both helped patients and reduced costs for the organization.
There is some discussion about how he got his first job, and we would like you to pay particular attention to that are of the conversation. His father gave him some advice that we think all people, especially those fresh out of college, need to hear.
We'll be talking with Ms. Lucy DeRossette a little later in the day as she joins Robyn for an afternoon cup o' joe, but for now, pour yourself your own cup and enjoy Coffee with Don Brown!
