Labrador Retriever Makes Insanely Long marked retrieves! Labrador Retrievers Rock!

http://KevinBOneill.com Our Labrador Retriever makes a couple of insanely long (500 Yard) Retrieves. The amazing part is that it is only her 4th time out doing marks and the first 2 times were in my back yard - about 50 yards and the 3rd time at a ball field about 100 yards. Her Retrieving and marking instinct is amazing! She comes out of Hall of Fame bloodlines from Labrador Retriever specialists Silverbrook Kennels owned by Trish Jagoda. She is the easiest dog I have ever trained (and being as I used to be a professional trainer for 10 years- I have trained hundreds of dogs) Great family dog / hunting dog combo! Can't wait to go waterfowling with her this year!

@BlackDogsOnly The last retrieve was over 500 yds. I deer hunt there and have measured it with a laser rangefinder. Absolutely, positively 500 yds. Why would you say it is not?

I've never tried retrieves that far with my lab, but she's a sweet little female like yours, and she's a born retriever. Thanks a lot for sharing that video. It gives me something to aspire to!

@tbaaron that last retrieve was over 450 yards! Just a matter of honing their instincts and when you shoot a bird that lands within 100 yds it should be a cinch! Have fun with your lab! Thanks for the comment!

Great Video...My Labrador Retriever has a problem. He won't cross bridges and sometimes gets freaked out and stop walking when we go for walks.
