  • He's really consistent. He had 8.40+ jumps many times this year. And I believe he has a lot more in him. Unlike Sebastian Bayer, who made that monster jump indoors two years ago and never jumped close to it again. 8.17 this year, 8.06 last year. Mitchell is quite fast on 100m as well, with 10.31.

  • @ytubeserb I agree with you for Mitchell's consistency, but Sebastian Bayer jumped 8.49m during 2009's summer, ok it's not 8.71m but is already an awesome performance

  • @colebri38 he will jump over 8.88

  • i guess Watts will jump more than 8.60 very soon. He is fast and his feet are so powerful. he's even much more impressive than Philips.

  • @hoppopper Well, silver ain't bad.

  • this man wins gold in daegu!!!

  • @ytubeserb Good analysis and i'll add he can use consistently different types of jump, not many athletes can do it

  • I like this guy....if they're healthy and stay hungry, him and Fabrice will collect a lot of medals in the Long Jump in the next few years

  • @sokha326 Lol, nevermind. :)

  • @sokha326 If an American broke the American Record for a 100m and/or 200m sprint, the whole world would hear about it, it'll be all over the internet, Youtube and news feeds. But as soon as an Australian broke Australian record for long jump, it doesn't sounds as though Mitchell got the credit he deserved.
