In this eight-part series of dzogchen teachings, Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche explains the essence of a heart teaching by Dawa Gyaltsen, an eighth century meditation master from the Bon Buddhist tradition of Tibet. These teachings are designed to guide one directly to the root of one's self, to the clear and blissful experience that is the true nature of mind.

  • Dear Friend, thank you so much for sharing this wisdom- all true in my experience. I would add however, that tracing the mind back to its own fundamental empty radiance is only the first step. Every dimension of our experience must be traced back to Source: feeling, identity, tactility, chi, feeling, breath, sound/silence etc. A teacher told me once that if you find the source of one, the others eventually resolve into radiant being as well, but it sure takes a long time to do it that way :-)

  • thank you for the remark about nihilism, you are right, we must not fall into it. :)

  • I don't know how could emptiness be the fullness. there is some deep wisdom in your video mr. Ligmincha. I know only that God is the fullness with all the good qualities, and that the other bad qualities do not proceed from him. emptiness may be fullness if nothing more could be conceived, I think so because the definition of emptiness is void of contents. But then emptiness can not be conceived perhaps? emptiness is a tricky thing, there are ways how to conceive it.

  • I would have to disagree on the statement that clear light is emptiness, it can be conceived or discovered by other means and it is not empty. however there can be emptiness in light, but I don''t know how that would be possible.

  • Thanks a lot for sharing! Many blesses!

  • The clarity and purity of your teachings are deeply inspiring. Heartfelt thanks for posting all these videos.

  • THE BEST WAY to feel emptiness is netti netti imo, say no to all your perceptions, everything, but you have to believe that it is true before your EXCITED enough for it to work, just one, One time I saw clear light for an instant everything was it up, and heard 'there it is' or imagined it, but the rectionary voice seemed unlike me. so it was pretty cool even though quick.

  • Thank you very much for all of these videos Rinpoche. Thank you deeply from my heart. This is helping my practice, and improving the life.

  • Thank you so much for your teachings!

I easy fall into the nihilistic view and get depressed. But after your clear teaching on emptiness, it feels like I finally understand.

    Namaste

  • Thank you Ripoche..I have read your books , especially the dream yoga teachings and they have been excellent.

    Namaste
