The Pride of Arizona's Pride of Arizona Marching Band plays "Doctor Who" in the stands at homecoming 2005 (which is also incidently The Timelords aka. KLF's "Doctorin' the Tardis" and Gary Glitter's "Rock & Roll part (1 or 2)," but insidently usually goes by the name "The Hey Song")

Okay. I was in marching band for six years and this song was called Penn State in our official sheet music.

I had the Dr. Who version of this on LP. Very cool! Thanks for doing this version.

@Razela It's referred to as the "Hey Song" because of the lyric.

@Razela No it's not. Since 1972 this song has been copywrighted as "Rock n Roll (Part 2)" composed by Glitter/Leander!

@TomTresh3 Wrong. It's copyrighted under that name. We didn't just make it up!

@Razela This song is not known as "doctor who" by anyone other than your arranger who decided to call it that for some bizzare reason. "The hey song" (while not it's official title) is more appropriate because it is the nickname for "rock n roll part 2". This song has no connection to doctor who, other than it was once featured in a medley that also included the Dr. Who theame!

its absolutely nothing to do with "doctor who" you bunch of Yankee nit-wits! Gary Glitter performed this back in 1972! do your homework!
