The video is 100% my own.

This film contains many layers. The techniques used are stop motion animation, digital effects, and 16mm clear leader film manipulation. This was constructed by taking old slides of fifties family vacation photos and cutting and taping them onto the film. I also made an animation using istop and final cut, using paper cutouts and collage backgrounds. I then layered the two to make this film

The story is of a family from the fifties who travel through time to a space age futuristic society. They do this by way of a time machine which changes shape throughout the piece, appearing as a rocket ship, blimp, hot air balloon, then as an airplane, and finally morphing into simple shape and color

The soundtrack is Erik Leland Vessey's digital rendition of "Whole Lotta Love." ♥

Oh yes and I have to give credit for the bit at the end of the video, I think a little bit of Blast Majesty snuck in there!
