@ivantdang - yes. It taught him his outdoor boundaries pretty quick. He was scared at first to even go outside, but now he loves it and likes running laps around the house. Although he still occasionally charges it to chase deer in our backyard : /
@rcbif101 If you can't train and discipline the dog yourself, you shouldn't have one. Shock-collars are a barbaric way of being lazy. I train dogs for shooting, and guarding, and have helped people train their family dogs before, and never once needed a shock collar. Your voice is all the punishment the animal needs, failing that, a hearty slap once every few months. Electricity is barbaric. A dog needs attention - not a computer that zaps it.
@ESAPOWER - You obviously know nothing about shock collars, how the training works, or even my dogs experience with the system. He has been shocked less than 4 times by the system. The stupid thing wont even work if you charge the fence. I've tried it. After the initial few shocks, he learned the boundry very fast by seeing the white flags. Once the flags are gone, the collar is set-up to beep 10ft in advance before shocking incase he forgets.
@rcbif101 - not to mention, fur is an insulator, so he would feel even less a shock as I did testing it out, and more of a "hearty slap" like you said you train with.
Is he wearing a shock collar?

I was just playing this video on my desktop PC in the familyroom, and my dog came to the computer to see where the lettuce is, LOL!
