No matter what you feel about Wright, this might help you understand how Obama stayed at Trinity; any Christian would hear these sermons and not find theme 'extreme'.

  • We are not trying to convince you that Reverend Wright is innocent of speech extremely hurtful and irresponsible, particularly of a pastor.

We are suggesting that it is plausible that any Christian would attend a service based on the subject matter of the above clip without being called 'radical' or 'extreme'; it is also plausible that the same Christian might be gracious to an erring pastor. There is room for discussion, but thank you for your input.

  • These are the sermons that Saint Obama was present for. See everybody? He's not an extreme pastor. I told you he was just all bout love and Jesus. I knew it.

(read above with tone dripping in sarcasm)

  • Point granted. However, the 'story'-the use of video & recording as political fodder-is old. Meaningful conversation is needed. Short segments of sensationalism are not and are in fact detrimental to any reconciliation.

Lastly, we would like to note that we are not "political cronies" of Mr. Obama. We are not interested in unadulterated advocacy of his policy or supporters without respect to legitimate argument. We are, however, seeking to balance the discussion in ways that generate discussion

  • The story of Reverend Wright and Christianity is NOT "getting old" I couldn't care less about Obama, but Wright's message will not be ignored just to please Obama's political cronies.

  • 1. Part of the point in this video series is to illustrate that the story is getting "old". The redundancy makes this point palpable.

    2. To point the finger at McCain and Hagee is to be hypocritical. Thanks for your comment, though.

  • OMG is that the SAME OLD TIRED PICTURE and VIDEO, That's all you could find, voice something new like John McCains relatioonship with Racist Rev. John Hagee....they have the same name..
