HORSLIPS - THE MAN WHO BUILT AMERICA 1978 (promo)

A photo collage and selected video clips showcasing the period of Horslips' eighth studio album, The Man Who Built America. Produced by Steve Katz (of Blood, Sweat & Tears fame) and engineered by Declan O'Doherty (who earlier in year had worked on Gerry Rafferty's 'Baker Street'), the album tackled the subject of Irish emigration to the USA and was the third in a trilogy. This video features extracts from 'Loneliness', 'The Man Who Built America', 'Tonight (You're With Me)' and 'I'll Be Waiting'.

These images and other rare discoveries will feature in TALL TALES: THE HISTORY OF HORSLIPS — the definitive biography by Mark Cunningham, published on December 1 2012.
