  • One of the most beautiful songs...

  • This seems to be the common translation. Maria is a beautiful young lady, who has a different man every night.

"Nwahulwana" (Night Bird). "You are a night bird, moving after dark from bar to bar. My sister, how long will you count men in the streets? If you continue like this, my darling, who will want to marry you?” And so he continues to express his sadness at her lifestyle, and how she is wasting her life.”

    Enjoy!

  • The Pledge

  • Great.

  • Non esistono parole per "magnificarla"; si gode e basta...

  • hiya nie mehr schuften bin so reich

  • @PauseToPlay yeah sure, this is the closest meaning of the song.

There is nothing related with war neither with passed away wife.

  • Thanks to all for the translation.

    The melody is expressfull

  • @PauseToPlay Yes, that is the translation that was on the album I used to have this song on, Marrabenta Star de Mozambique. Nothing about warlords.

  • love this song! but the ending is missing... this same acoustic version is on the album Trance Planet Volume 1 and is 6:48 long. definitely worth finding and hearing the full song. i also prefer this acoustic version to the more recent electric versions...
