  • They're excellent. They're talented, and they're not doing it for the fame. They're my rolemodels. :)

  • Cool band and what an accent

  • Two of my ex-wives couldn't use their actual birthnames in America...Munoz has an "enya", the Spanish substitute for the letter "n." The other was Jorgenson (a Scandanavian name) with the letter "oo" which is the Danish substitute for the letter "o." This is not a petty matter. These were their birthnames and their names reflect their cultural heritage.

  • i saw them in concert :) they were good

  • @jocknflo their grandmother moved back after a couple of years. It's hardly a great mystery

  • Love this impromptu version gives me chills every time, brilliant voices

  • go the aussies!!! keepin it real

  • this is one of their best songs, the lyrics are brilliant

  • Many Australian war brides who married American or British servicemen returned to Australia.

When the Aussie brides arrived in Britian, the country was still in the grips of rationing that existed until 1954, and the brides and their husbands realised they would have a better lifestyle in Australia.

The American soldiers tended to glorify their lives. Girls who were told extravagant stories of NY found themselves on cotton plantations, and many returned to Australia with their husbands.

  • OK..if her Grandmother moved to the US how did her granddaughter end up being born in Australia?

  • the waifs are amazing.

i love how they maintain their brilliance live.

  • First time I ever heard this song and I've loved it ever since. Her voice, their harmonies. Simply Gold.
