Carolyn Wonderland - "Judgement Day" - SXSW 2010 Showcasing Artist

Carolyn Wonderland has the goods. A triple threat with her diverse songwriting, soulful vocals, and guitar goddess status - all featured on over twenty CDs, six of which are her releases - she has a pedigree in this business that's hard to match. A bit of a renegade, she likes to incorporate elements of Blues, Country, Swing, Zydeco, Surf, Gospel, Soul, and some nights, maybe even a Cumbia into the musical mix. Recent years have seen her stretching out musically working some expert whistling and scat singing into her shows. In addition to her trusty guitar, "Patty," Carolyn has been regularly playing her trumpet, and even occasionally the accordion, mandolin, or keys...she is threatening to take up nose flute if someone doesnt stop her...

Yesss! The IMUS performance was great BUT this video doesn't have the harmonica player and he was terrific! Carolyn, Keep him with you. It's like when Stevie Ray Vaughn added his key board player. Made the group a juggernaut.

Yeah! I were also in Rauma Blues. McClinton was only playingin his records on stage... I didn't get it. But Wonderland was so great. Amazing guitarist, amazing vocalist. One of the best concerts were I have been.

Amazing!! Just had a chance to see Carolyn in Finland at Rauma Blues festival! People were blown away by her performance! She was my favourite dispite the fact that Delbert McClinton was also there. Now I must get every record Carolyn has ever recorded, she IS terrific! ♥

She's great, but the video sucks. With the kind of energy she has, you don't need all this constant cutting and zooming and split screen crap. When she really starts hitting that guitar, the video doesn't just sit back and let her energy and skill be front and center. No, we have to pull all these video stunts as though she were some no-talent pretty face who couldn't hold your attention without it. Sigh.

What's an "imus"?. I've heard Carolyn Wonderland play a lot,here her fantastic voice is drowned out.Great song too,great musicians,but someone in recording has too much percussion & to little artist.
