Coming back to a game I showed 2 stages from. This time I'll bring forth the entire 1 Player Normal Game. Yes, I'm not that great if experts happen to watch this, but some people haven't even seen this whole trip.

One thing I (or everybody) notice right away is the cut scenes involving what appears to be a family interacting in the intro and between stages. It's never really explained what they are doing, other than playing the game "Fantavision". It looks like that are passing control over to different bases or areas every two stage via a phone call (you will see this later).

Background info:
The game Fantavision is a launch title released for the PS2 in the year 2000. A change from the ordinary, Fantavision's puzzle element and gameplay was certainly a welcome edition to the variety of titles avaliable. However, this title was VERY unpopular due to lack of interest. Those who liked the game liked it very much and perhaps still play it to this day.

  • I totally love this game, so simple and so fun.

Have you played futari no fantavision? no? you should.

  • @dankuro97 I've never even heard of that one. Is it some alternate version of this game or something else?

  • @Saestrol Is he sequel only released in japan. It has new cutscenes, remixed music, better graphics, new levels and a new VS mode with new stages and music. The VS com mode is awesome and very hard.

  • @dankuro97 Very interesting. I should look this up then.

  • This truly was one of the most underrated games of the PS2. I still can't believe that people still judge a game by how it looks, it really hits a sore spot with some people. But, this was and still is one of my favorite games of all time, even if the game is hard a hell.

  • It is a masterpiece classic. So simple, and fun at the same time.

  • I'm creating a mash up of this and Fruit Ninja for iOS. Check out development by following my channel :)

  • in 2000, not being really introduced to DVD video quality, seeing this little girl and her family on my TV with the PS2 I rented 3 days after its release, it was quite something. I still own that game and I love it! They should release an HD PSN version with the same music, retro feeling, we love that!

  • My first PS2 games: War of the Monsters, Fantavision, Crush hour, Tekken, and later on, Twisted Metal: Black

  • I don't see the fun in this game... Mmmm, well... whatever

  • Fantavision lives on with Boom Boom Rocket...sort of.
