Easy Way To Get The Katana In Great Cave Offensive

It's that one treasure absolutely EVERYONE dreads getting in Great Cave Offensive.. that one treasure that's Absolutely hell to get. Well in this video me and Jukan will show you an easier way to get the treasure without pulling your hair out. I only discovered this trick through complete accident so I hope it may help someone out there.

Man, I JUST got this game thru a retro games dealer after years of trying to locate a fairly-priced copy. 25 bucks and worth every cent to relive my childhood. I remember this part and I was going about it correctly but just kept coming up short with the damn jet. Now that I've seen it done it's time for another try.

@WartoothisGod Well you could have always got a rom of it, although a few of the roms i got on this game glitched out and half way through sent me straight to the final battle with Marx in Milky Way Wishes. If you can get this game at $25 bucks without totally getting ripped off then you sir are very fortunate, cause I've seen people charge an arm and a leg for this SNES Gem. @gaminggod90 I use it from the lower platform so the wind likely won't push me back out. I imagine it would be ridiculous from the top platform.

Also I can't remember if this worked but using cutter, ninja or parasol from the top platform.

@rurussian06 Tried it. It DOES work however it takes ABSOLUTELY FOREVER to time it right but don't get me wrong it CAN be done that way. Take about 10-20 minutes worth of trying that way, and then look at this video doing it my way, It only took 3 tries. Hope that helps!

@rurussian06 Bleh, what I meant to say is instant full boost.

When you charge up the jet, press shield to hold the charge so next time you use it, it's instantly fully charged.

Also if you start flying with the held charge, you do a rocket jump instead.
