20090730 Multi-alarm Fire Washington D.C.

This is video of a multi-alarm WSF at Cafritz Residence, 3030 Chain Bridge Road, Washington D.C.

This is video from the Cayfritz fire on July 30th.
FF encountered numerous hydrants that failed or had inadequate water flow.

Tests of the hydrants after the fire found the (75 year old cast-iron) water main had a far less than needed flow the night of the fire.

A report on the fire stated: Although low water flow affected the time required to put out the fire, the report says it's debatable how much of the house could have been saved had water flow been greater.
