Pro Body builder Lee Priest - What's it like to meet him?

I remember when I competed in the NPC Southwest America show in Dallas, Texas. Lee Priest was there at one of the booths signing autographs and repping for some supplement company.

My wife knew I was a big fan (I had not met him yet) and so she went over and got his autograph. I asked her what he was like. She said he seemed reserved, shy.

I asked if he was eating anything (he has a reputation for eating doughnuts, ice cream, etc).

She said "no" he was just sitting there with another guy.

Lee gets a bad rap sometimes but his true fans know that he is a very friendly, funny guy who is extremely approachable. Make sure you go up and meet him if you ever have the chance - he'll make you feel comfortable.

In this clip, we were at the Arnold Classic. Lee was at the muscle mag booth for the weekend. It was SO LOUD in the auditorium due to thousands and thousands of people that I had to use a cheap wireless mic but it didn't work too well (cracking and popping).
