First time back at an indoor range in 20 years. Needed a place to try out my new toy. I'm running the CMMG rimfire bolt and didn't realize I need the trip kit for the auto sear. It just arrived in the today from Spikes Tactical..I'd have to say the best 22 bucks I ever spent..Okay spent more than the part cost to rush it up..:) As always topped with the best rimfire can made..Liberty Kodiak TL! Yep it still hasn't worn out its novelty over a year later..
@Schnitzeraffe So thats 200 that I just heard about recently..The one batch everyone was salivating over to see if they would make it to market for months..Though at that time I had no interest in them..Was just a silencer addict yet..:)

@Schnitzeraffe I wondered the same thing..But then heard a few cases like these..a local fella here had over a 100 machine guns..He died and his wife told the ATF she didn't want them transferred to her and just take them..so they all were destroyed..He probably spent to much time with the guns..:) Another fella here basically the same thing and his kid was a felon and couldn't inherit them tax free on a form 5 like would normally be done. not allowed to posses them. So those were just given up

Why down in such drastic numbers?!?!? Items being stolen, broken, destroyed...?

@Schnitzeraffe In 1986 a Mac was 300 and an ounce of gold was a little more. My M-16 was maybe 800 or two ounces of gold..Now have her look at the prices of each..This is going mainstream and the number of machine guns on the registry is only going down. Registy is down to 189,000 last I looked..was over 200,000 just a few years ago..including lighting links..auto sears..registed bolts..etc.

@Schnitzeraffe LOL..Well said..No the thumbs down I'm sure is from a few forum members that dislike my enthusiasm for the Kodiak family. What started all this was cans..then I bought the Mac purely as investment..had no intention or desire really to shoot it (had no idea the fun!). When it was explained to me that shooting it would not change the value but maybe a few hundred bucks (mine was NIB) then I thought the hell with it. glad I did!!! Its a blast!

I'm still trying to get an M11/9 OK'ed by the wife as an "investment". And as much as I'd like an M16 or registered AR... it's NEVER going to happen (barring a lottery win or a Hughes amendment repeal). As far as the thumbs down stuff goes I'm sure they're just some left wing, nut job, tree hugging, Constitution hating, Obama loving, anti-American, Democrat P.O.S. losers. Ahhhh that felt good! ;)

@Schnitzeraffe I always like to return the favor and give back some ideas but admittedly this is one that will most likely put a few in the dog house with the wife..ahh the joy of being single..:) Who keep giving these a thumbs down? LOL.. ahh toy like this nothing can upset you..Uh I mean investment..
