Once again our Rabbonim and community is being fooled by politicians like John Heyer (who supports civil unions which is de-facto same gender marriage). That's why we are calling on all Torah Observing Jews to stay home and don't vote. Whether it's Mark Green or David Weprin, each candidate on every level without exception supports some sort of anti-family values legislation which is inimical to our Torah way of life.

  • Does this guy do anything besides name-calling?

  • Did you really just refer to someone's 'intermarried wife'? You slam politicians for not taking a bigoted stance against homosexuals? Then you talk about separation of church and state - you seem to have no understanding of what this separation is.

  • If you say so, then it must be so....

  • What about some tolerance... The biggest enabler of the gay agenda is Rabbi Levin and Co.. By expressing these kind of sentiments, they give encouragment to gay advocates to fight the status quo.

  • Even if Torah forbids homosexual acts it does not follow that one cannot support homosexual rights or support a candidate who supports them. Do you think that gays should be discriminated in employment and housing? Do you? Do you know that some Catholics believe according to their Torah that it's a mitzva to discriminate against Jews. Is it Ok, if they do?

The best way to deal with the issue is to leave it. the government has no business to enforce any group's morality

  • You're a fool. The Torah forbids homosexuality. And if you call that discrimination, then what kind of a shonda is it for a Rabbi to follow the words of the Torah? That's the Rabbi's job, you fool!! Your problem isn't the Rabbi, but his religion.

  • The man is 100 % right & on the mark !

  • it is a shonda to hear a rav support any form of discrimination towards anyone. discrimination to one, is discrimination to all.

  • By the way, Rabbi Levin's type of politician is none other than an antisemite Pat Buchanan, whose candidacy he supported for president , and who had recently wrote another piece of apology for Hitler. It appears that the only issue the oylam should care about is gay rights. I was just wondering why Levin is so obsessed with gays. May be he is gay himself or he was abused as a child.

  • You talk a lot, do you like how you sound? :p, just get to the point without dreying... also who are you to tell everyone what to do?, seems like your just a rabbi who likes to hock and force his opinion on other people.....not that I don't agree with much of what you say......but I'm sure I could also agree with plenty of other opinions that disagree with your advice as well.....unless your qualified to make a psak and have the following of the khal this message is pretty meaningless I feel...
