@MrAL97 I had not heard about greek wrestling before, but from what I read on wikipedia, it's an old wrestling style that sounds a lot like judo. It has both submissions and points for throwing your opponent on their back.

But I don't think it's being practiced any more. At least not in the original form, since one of the rules was: "Infractions shall be punished by immediate whipping by the referee until the undesirable behaviour is stopped." lol :)

@MrAL97 Like Judo, Greco roman wrestling is also a clinch based wrestling style, but unlike judo, you're not allowed to use your feet to trip your opponent and submissions are not allowed in greco roman.

There just aren't enough judo throws in MMA anymore. They need a new Karo parisyan, seeing as jon jones has stopped doing them.
