About 1948 The Mower Lumber Co. Bought Shay#4 in cass it was never scraped so shay 4,5,and 1 were in the Cass Scenic Railroad Shay 4 still runs today.

Yes, you would have to be a brakeman or work on the track crew for at least one year or until a fireman's position opens then it will take 5 years or more to become an engineer.
