At United Nations Headquarters in New York, 7 contestants presented their models before a 5-panel jury.

It is part of the competition to select the winning model to be erected on the ground of the United Nations in honor of the victims of slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade - a tragic period in the history of our world.

The unveiling ceremony will take place on September 23 at the UN Secretariat Building.
