i dont know what year it was,but gibson made what they called the bone crusher,it was bearclaw spruce on walnut,a full blown dreadnaught called a j 65 ,gibson only made a hand full of these things, and they were trying to out do the martin d 28. i think that walnut tone woods might be a happy medium between rose wood and mahogany. has any one ever seen an arched back slope shoulder made out of ceder on walnut, with a v profiled neck? i mean is it possible to make a guitar like that ?,

Your videos are very helpful thanks a lot. What strength pick do you use for fast picking? Any exercises you would recommend to improve scales and speed?

@alphapup100 I use a really thick pick...at least a 1mm, thought the tortoise shell pick I use is more like a 1.2 . Hope that helps! I should be putting a vid out shortly about exercises. Stay tuned!

Hey Ben, I am sure you tabbed it....I really like it cause it's a mix of Bryan Sutton style, Tony Rice (how could we miss him) but also you added crosspicking and down-ups...very very cool....so, the tab I saw in your website is the one you're playing here or is an easier version? Regarding guitars I would really love to show you an Italian very young guitar maker who builts at collings standards level...his name is Mario Pistella...a genius!!! He's on facebook..

The tab is EXACTLY as you see here...that's why it took me so long. All the songs are exact transcriptions with pick direction, chords, and backup tracks included. Enjoy!
