Funeral of Henry Ford (1947)

A crowd is gathered outside St. Patrick's Cathedral in Detroit, Michigan as the family of Henry Ford arrives for the funeral; the family and guests enter the church. Clergy exit the church and pallbearers follow carrying the casket to the waiting hearse. The family gets into waiting automobiles. The motorcade leaves the cathedral with a police escort. The procession arrives at the cemetery.

Sorry, but it can't be 1947. Judging from the models of the cars it must be 1949-50.

It's not St. Patrick's Cathedral, Detroit - it's St. PAUL'S Cathedral, Detroit. Ford was a parishioner there and a friend of the cathedral's first dean. He contributed funds to the construction of the cathedral in the early 1900's.

Yes, Henry Ford died in April 1947 and there are clearly a number of Fords in the film that are at least 1949 or later. As pointed out below, the Lincolns are also of that vintage. I also spotted a couple of '49 Chevys. Clara Ford died in 1950 -- this is probably her funeral.
