  • @JazzVideoGuy is there a full version of this video?

  • man i saw dave live at birdland in august with steve kuhn and steve swallow. man, why isnt this guy more popular!? he can play his ass off on tenor and soprano. Didnt get the recignition he deserves I think. maybe started to get noticed too late in the jazz scene. but he's still playing and hope he'll get what he deserves in the future as credit goes

  • Baaww the video cuts just before they show the great Steve Swallow....

  • Elvin was obviously, a very great guy!

  • @JazzVideoGuy Makes me wonder why he isn`t mentioned. Don`t try it - there can`t be any excuse :-)

Dave was a D bag? You mean a "douche bag?" Well, I know Dave. I have seen and talked him many times and he was never mean, or a douche bag. Maybe he smelled your breath, and it caused him to want to get away from your ass!

  • oh look it's scofield - lol

  • Cavolo me lo ricordo bene era il seminario a ravenna festival e quello dietro che coordina è mio babbo Giulio Capiozzo...ma senti hai tutto il video perchè mi ricordo che avevano duettato con 2 batterie..

  • i was at that camp...and just who are you??

  • @3chocolate3clock3

that was just your impression on that day, i have had the privelage of going to about 4-5 summer jazz camps with him, studying privately with him, and he is a very very nice guy. he is a class act, in fact he even had my first lesson free of charge to look out for the future of jazz. he is a real nice guy.
