  • I have a Dell (yes, it sucks...) 1420. it definitely has enough hard drive space, RAM, and processor speed (120 GB, 3 GB, and 2.4 Ghz, respectively.) I looked at this and I have been trying to find a tutorial for what to buy for a LONG time. I have a basic understanding of how to set something like this up, but I need to know specific names of products if I am going to get anywhere with this, just cause of my rather stubborn "I have a bad feeling about this" sense. any names are appreciated.

  • I ended up getting a DIAMOND Xtreme TV HDTV1000 DVR USB STICK. It allows me to watch SDTV, and over the air HDTV channels, and capture video from any s-video, component source. The quality for the HD channels are amazing, the SD not so good, the video capture is also so so, but all in all it does what I want and that is to allow me to play XBOX on my Laptop. My big grip though is that the usb dongle gets really hot after continuous use.

  • I asked the question Chris, xXTUBBYXx. I just want to play Dead Rising during my lunch hour at work. I know the quality wont be that great on my laptop screen, but just to kill the hour, there is no tv's and we are not allowed to touch the computers in any way other than to work on them. I am however able to use my laptop to do whatever I see fit.

  • Just because you were on my plasma dosen't make it that creepy >.>...wait nevermind it was.

  • Chris,

I like your videos, but your livecast is getting too busy on the screen. With the chat, the ads, and the scrolling at th bottom, I am getting ADD just trying to keep up. I find myself not even watching you, and just listening. Keep the up good work.

  • Hey Chris, I am not friends with you so I can't send you a message but I was wondering if you would talk some about convertible tablet laptops, especially those with 14 inch screens even though they are a bit heavier. I am tempted to get one for school but it would be a big investment and I don't want to screw up!
