If you were born back in late 70's or early 80's, you definitely have to remember these vibrating analog synth sounds and the helicopter-like basslines bouncing at your first clubbing sessions. I was not just born in that era but also in a place extremely close to Italy, where every summer thousands of Italian party people would come down for vacation, bringing in their fashion and their best DJs and music at our "discos" (Caligula parties FTW lol).

This retro style has been revived through the popularity of electro house these days, since the analog nature that is required for the electro sounds is linked tightly with the first analog synthesizers that were also used in the first electronic dance music attempts such as disco house.

My most beloved times were back then when as a young child I lived these really long summers by the sea and I have all these fading memories from a totally different world; one without technology where you just enjoyed what you had there. No mobile phones, no internet, not even buses. You were stuck with no communication at a place with your friend and that was great. 80's feels like a distant deserted island. This remix is my memories from that island.

I usually go for trance remixes but this one was just asking for it. It wouldn't accept anything trance and I've decided to calm down a bit and get out some different stereotypes of mine. Although all my remixes are club/trance, I've been making a lot kind of music in the past, including ambient, trip-hop and even rock/metal. Somebody said my remixes sound quite similar, so here's my answer.

Oh yea, almost forgot. Afterschool rules big time and this is their sexiest song. If you think it's too dirty, you probably have a distorted view about "innocence" in Korea and perhaps you should pay a visit to Hongdae or Gangnam after 8pm. Koreans (as most Asians) tend to hide what isn't that socially acceptable. I like this song because it doesn't. It's actually one of the most realistic kpop songs I've ever heard. That's night-time Korea of course. In the day things are more socially "correct".

There are a few points here and there that I'm not really satisfied with (some cuts and the lead at 2:07 for example) but there is not much time I can afford to perfect these details. I hope you are still generally satisfied with this remix.

Never really liked the original to start with because their voices sound so weird, doesn't matter what version you have, their voices suck in this song. (don't hate me now, I'm not an After School hater!! I just don't like this song..) But nice remix!!
