  • great job

  • more Java-like syntax ...

    cheers

  • Javascript is interesting because it uses the popular C-like syntax, variables have no type and functions are first class citizens. It's really a breath of fresh air to program in Javascript when you've been programming in C all day.

    I really enjoy Javascript.

  • حكيم اسم على مسمي

  • Yes, you are right "NiGhtMarEs0nWax" but "ChaperonNoir" was talking about the usefulness of javascript frameworks when it comes to dealing with inconsistencies between browsers' implementations of the DOM.

    Scriptaculous is my favorite javascript framework (which in turn is based on another framework: Prototype)

    Thank you both for your comments!

  • javascript has been about for years, all browsers use it, in fact there probably isnt a web page on the planet that dosnt make use of javascript. and its not a framework, its a c based scripting language.

  • Good tutorial !

    This IE stuff is scary. Makes you want to use a javascript framework just because of it.

  • It's really interesting following along, with your explanations for somebody like me that knows nothing about programing/scripting.

    Great video(s)!

  • Welcome back, Mr. Hakim! That was an interesting video too. :)

  • great to see another video series from you hakim;

    I enjoyed your set on assembly, and I will have fun following allow with this example;

    your videos are very good ;)

    I have never worked w/ JavaScript , but it looks similar to c++ ;)
