nice video, i like the idea of tampering with tracks before DJing them. also, just a tiny tip, in Live if you're copying loads of the same thing (audio or MIDI), you can just press the right arrow key instead of clicking after the last pasted clip, just speeds things up so much

@lauriejmusic I didn't know that one. Thanks for sharing it.

Great video!
Can you please tell me the name of the font you have used to write the title of the episode?
Thank you.

Great little trick. I love to do this live with the loop features in traktor, but spice it up a smidge. Try this stutter edit again, but this time cut that loop section down to a single tone .. (e.g. the loop at 1/64 if you were on your cdj) and THEN add a gate to the constant tone whilst swepping the filters back and forth. You can get really creative with the gate interval and almost create a double roll with its bpm - start at a 4/4 gate resolution, and then tighten it up as well to 1/8 or so

@Nygel36 A good tip, Trevor. I may in fact try and re-create it in Ableton Live. If I can get it to sound good, I'll do an episode that demonstrates the recreation.
