Transform your horse from bit to bitless in minutes in a Nurtural Bitless Bridle ... and watch the dramatic difference in your relationship and performance!

Nurtural Bitless Clinic #0015 July 13, 2008
Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Sponsored by Calgary Stampede Light Horse Committee
"Because Bitless Bridles are good for horses!"

Certified Nurtural Clinicians: Zoe Brooks & Gerry Guy

This 30 minute clinic followed the standard Nurtural Bitless Clinic format.

"Bring us a horse ... any horse!
Whatever it does in its current bit, ... it will do better in a Nurtural Bitless Bridle!"

Enjoy watching Darlene Droboth from Claresholm Alberta, Canada with her 15-year-old Appaloosa gelding 'Harley'

Darlene's question:
"Will this Nurtural bitless bridle reduce Harley head shakes and bobs?" What do you think? She was so pleased at his performance in the Nurtural Bridle that she rode in three more demos that day, including a ride in the big top!

I look forward to your comments!

Please contact me if you would like to see a Nurtural Bitless Transformation at your barn or event ... or talk about becoming a Nurtural Clinician. Zoe

  • although this may work for some, i didnt work for my horse at all. i bought this bridle at the horse expo and the people told me it would fix all my prolems. my horse goes amazing in just a halter or a rope around hsi neck, but when i used a bit he was tense and would run through the jumps. so i tried this bitless bridle. he was HORRIBLE in it. he gave me blisters and completely ignored me. i had to stop useing it because i couldnt control him in it. i went back to my snaffle bit.

  • Hmmm. I wonder if you had a NURTURAL bitless? We did not attend any 'horse expos'!

If it was ours, did you call us for help? We have great customer service!

Not all bitless are the same. Design and fitting are critical.

Please contact us if we can help. Zoe

  • Lack of respect causes a lot of problems. But when you see how much better so many horses do in the Nurtural Bitless after only a few minutes, the equipment must also play a key role. Zoe

  • i think this i a great great great idea. I think it's funny how people can't grasp that horses can't be good without a bit. The Indians rode their appaloosa horses in bosals long long before there was ever a piece of metal in their mouth. And a hot horse would be the ideal horse to use a bit less on because they will tend to fight you more. I've been on a hot horse beside a herd of galloping babies in a paddock along the road and still worked to correct the horse.

  • Thanks for commenting. I too am baffled by the opposition, when horses do so well bitless. There seems to be a lot of fear yet and mistaken assumptions that you can 'control' a horse with a bit. I had a similar experience with my horse outside a paddock with the rest of our herd yahooing inside -that's when I knew these bridles REALLY worked.

  • I can see the difference between the LG and a bridle with a bit. I use a bosal with rope reins and have trained my appy and my mothers thoroughbred on a bosal. they are happy and so are we id like to get a LG bridle but id need one that looked more western

  • Sorry for the delayed response.

If you are looking for western style bitless bridle, you may want to check out the Nurtural Bitless used in this video.

  • @NurturalHorse it was the natural bitless.it was fitted properly and everything i sent a picture in. there really is no diffrence in any of the videos u have on here. i wasted 180 dollars on it when my horse goes bettter in just a halter

  • Of course he's gonna have brakes in that thing, they keep stopping him the same place every time. He's anticipating stopping there.

  • Its hard for me to see any difference. Yeah no joke he isn't chomping on a bit there aint one, no problem was fixed. Just another tool, what I would have liked to have seen was a vet check to tell me there was nothing wrong with his mouth to cause the discomfort.

  • Nothing about this demonstration impressed me. For one thing, they let the horse look around and settle in, in its bit, then put the bitless on and then said "look he is more relaxed now!" for another "They respect the feel of the nose band and don't fight it" basically the noseband causes enough discomfort that the horse won't take contact. NOT a good thing.

  • It's not grasping the concept that horses cannot be good without a bit, it's the people who want to force overpriced products on those who prefer traditional methods. Honestly, why would I want to buy an expensive specialized "bitless" bridle when cowboys have been using side pulls, bosals, and hackamores for hundreds of years?

A bitless bridle will not fix riders with heavy hands. An exp. rider uses their seat to control speed, not their hands as that pulls the horse onto its forehand.

  • my sister only rides every horse she's been one in a rope halter, but wont get on unless she's finished the ground training. If anyone is having trouble with their horse, it's probably just lack of respect.
