Salone Wins With Women - Part 3 of 3

Women's participation in the electoral process became a defining issue during the recent Sierra Leone local council elections. Much of the heightened awareness about the issue came out of the leadership and bravery of the women featured in this video, including local council candidates, market women, members of parliament, and First Lady Sia Koroma. In this presentation by SFCG's Talking Drum Studio, (Produced with the support of the National Democratic Institute and Irish Aid), these women discuss the importance of women's involvement in governance and express their continued solidarity moving forward.
