Patty Murray And The Recovery Summer: Mission Accomplished?

U.S. Senate candidate Dino Rossi today released a web video titled "Patty Murray and the Recovery Summer: Mission Accomplished?" The video shows Sen. Patty Murray selling the so-called stimulus bill as a recovery package needed to put people back to work. The administration has been touting the summer of 2010 as "The Recovery Summer," but, the reality is, unemployment in Washington State has risen to 9.1% since Sen. Murray voted to pass this $1.2 trillion bill. "The so-called 'Recovery Summer' brought rising unemployment and uncertainty for job creators, and it's long past time for Sen. Murray to realize Washingtonians need policies that truly stimulate the economy, not more failed experiments with taxpayer money which only add to the debt," said Erin Daly, Rossi for Senate press secretary.

Murray and progressives like her have no clue how to stimulate the economy. It takes stepping out of the way, instead of inserting their own special interests of growing government bureaucracy to a point it's set to bankrupt our nation. We are not far behind most of Europe, which is rapidly crumbling economically. Their "good intentions" of entitlements have lead to disaster, even though it was 100% predictable. The Titanic could have slowed down and steered around the iceberg, so should we.
