@controlremot3 it's 100% french - european techno blossomed then, influenced by detroit (after detroit was influenced by electro (Kraftwerk). reason I reply is not because detroit is wrong, but because in N-America the HUGE development of house and techno in europe in the nineties is largely unknown. i.o.w. it was a global music movement, which could take place in europe because of the governments here being more relaxed towards houseparties. (this has changed for a part now)
