Silk Digital's latest EP exclusively features the original work of North American duo Shipstad & Warren, who, as teenagers, have quickly risen to the top of the progressive artists-to-watch list. With high quality tracks already out this year on Ora, Proxoz and Progressive Grooves, these young phenoms have no intention of disappearing from the playlists of top international DJ's anytime soon. The first track in the package, "Royak," sets the tone for the entire EP - deeply felt chord-based melodies rising above energetic rhythmic progressions. "Hand in Hand" takes a more romantic turn (as the name implies), with an extended break that highlights that wonderful moment of human connection. "You and I" follows suit, with a down-tempo breakdown (including minimal breaks) that plays as a cinematic interlude to the track. The future looks mighty bright for these precocious talents.

When i'm looking for good music, i just search for shipstad & warren :) is there any opportunity to buy your records on vinyl, because i can't find it in the german dj-mailorders :(

Hahaha how nice of you to say that :) Both Dylan and I really appreciate it :D As far as getting them on Vinyl we don't have any tracks out together that have gone to vinyl. We did have a few on CD but CDJshop as many know went down unfortunately...So I'm not actually sure! HOWEVER all our tracks are available from major download distributors such as Beatport, iTunes, Juno etc. Thanks for the comment and be prepared for the slew of tracks we've got ready for 2010 :D

Royak and Anger Has a Place - both tracks are great!

there are very little mistakes, it would be nice if you go everything trough and correct little things but its not necessary.

I am sure if you release again under like a second Version (Shipstad & Warren - Anger has a Place(2nd vers.)) it would be a big success.
