Brief dialogue on meeting in person, Dr. Welsing. My experience validates the benefits of this program of Recovery from european thinking and behaving. Many of our elders appear to have great difficulty with LISTENING and supporting the efforts of the "children" they have nurtured and taught.

There is little effort towards "mentorship" practices. The elder generation seems to be unwilling and unable to assist those who follow them with building them up. It's all about continue to look and listen to me and DON'T THINK or build on what i've done...I have to stay in the forefront here....

We all have a personality and i am not about to make my mind up over your comments-but your timing may have been off but graciousness is always in order-there is much to say about what you said. Cigarettes are a great distraction to those who dont smoke-I dont care to work in a smoking environment so i left a friends house today-welll i could say more

@Babakuumbala Greetings and Thanks for Sharing! I can appreciate the points you raised and have too taken those factors into consideration. There is nothing I am seeking regarding other peoples mind as my intent of sharing was to simply share my experience, strength and plan related to reaching out to elder scholars and others.  This was just my experience with her and I trust there is much to learn for me and others who listen. And, I trust others have had similar esp. they could share

Perhaps it was a bad time sis. Since it was before the lecture, maybe she didn't want to get into a deep discussion before a 3 hour lecture. Or it's possible she thought you wanted something from her since you mentioned your work. I think people in the public eye are very wary of others because they suspect most people want to use them in some way and they become paranoid. They have no clue how their rude behavior can affect people who respect them/their work. Smh. I been there too sis.

@purplepassion9191 (con't) who they can share with...and not us "old heads" who are working to FORWARD the works. We are seen as 'threats' to their position of authority....that's what I think and see happening...all over..not just with her yet many in this "conscious community"

@AfreekaLIVE I feel you on the support angle sis. We do support her and she definitely could have handled the situation better. Perhaps she's not the right person for you to build with. We all have issues and I am fairly sick of letting other people's issues become my issues. I went through the same process you did with the situation I experienced. I kept questioning what I did to get such a reaction, feeling hurt, rejected, etc. Well I didn't do a damn thing so I tortured myself for nothing!

"clueless" for sure and the reality is I DO want something from her. SUPPORT, the same as was given to her by the masses of us. When I mentioned 'my work' I let her know it was developed based on HER WORK and that I recognize her as a "professional parent" of mine. I don't thing she was so busy to prepare for her lecture..just experienced me as someone who KNOWS some things. Most of those elders want only "new babes"

It is so difficult at times to understand how our elders can teach the things they do and NOT PRACTICE them. I will STAY UP and I DO overstand the "why" they are and do what they do. They to are VICTIMS and programmed to self-destruct. When we are not WORKING a program of Recovery, this is the outcome...more of the same!
