West Somerset Railway 16.9.2009

Hi all,

This is the 2nd of 3 video's which will be uploaded following my 2nd holiday of the year (to Blue Anchor in Somerset)...which I arrived back from today.

This video features the UK's longest preserved railway, the West Somerset Railway. The line runs from the seaside town of Minehead through the rugged terrain of the northern coast of Somerset to Bishops Lydeard, calling at 8 quaint stations in between. The railway runs daily throughout the season offering both steam & diesel train rides.

Yes its not too bad. Like the foot crossing the best. Shame its hard to get lineside on Washford Bank because 4160 really thrashed up there! lol. Cheers for comment mate

The only place you can lineside on Washford Bank is Old Cleeve which looks down on it, otherwise you need a pass and jacket :(

that br black tender is for the WSR's new manor 7821 not 7820 or 7828
