@awsomevideoperson Greetings from Venturing Crew 51 from Forsyth, Ga. Challenge: Getting the coals right for the oil to heat up. We ended up using wood coals too as the other coals weren't as hot as needed. We didn't have a thermometer so we just used a "test" pinch of dough. Also, make a double batch of dough! It was cold outside (camp out) so we heated up a big pot of water (that we would use for cleaning) and set the pans on that. The dough started to rise better then. Great donuts!

You might want to put the lid on a trivet instead of the ground. Otherwise good job.
