Please read info:

Sony has debunked claims that damage in Gran Turismo 5 is unlocked, telling IGN that the feature "occurs right from the beginning."

Since Polyphony's long in development driving simulator released last week there's been confusion about how damage works in Gran Turismo 5, with its implementation disappointing some while an online video has suggested than it's more extensive than is immediately apparent.

Sony has since clarified to IGN how damage works in the game. "Damage occurs to cars right from the beginning," Sony said in a statement, "it is not "unlocked."

Confusion seems to have stemmed from its differing implementation across the game's extensive garage, a point that Sony further clarified. "Standard models have minor deformation and scratches," said Sony, "Premium cars have greater visible level of damage, and Premium racing models have the highest level of damage."Â

  • If crashing is all you fucktards try to demote gt5 with then burnout paradise is better than real life. stupid cunt.

  • FAIL!!! GT5 has damage now and it's even better online.

    Try Again Homo!

  • @TheSerenityofChaos THANK YOU!!!!

  • YOU CAN PUT DAMAGE IN THE SETTING OF GT5! #FAIL

  • @TheSerenityofChaos finally someone who knows what they are talking about

  • @MrPopular22 haha you're gonna try to say the sense of speed in rfactor or GTR is better? lol the sense of speed in all sims isn't good, not even if you turn up the cockpit movement and G - force simulations all the way up. rfactor and GTR are better sims than gt5 in almost everyway EXCEPT where the rubber meets the road. The fact is, there's almost no feeling at all for the edge of grip, it's either full grip or none and that's unrealistic. you're mistaking difficulty for realism

  • iRacing > rFactor

  • @TheSerenityofChaos

Listen: The sense of speed in RFACTOR or the GTR series is just like it shoud be. This also counts for the physics, which are miles ahead of the so called "real driving simulator". Gran turismo, just like Forza are NOT simulators, no matter how hard you guys try to excuse it. I played these games fo a long time, but after trying Rfactor and than other pc games which are actually worth the term "simulator" they both feel like a bad joke.

Idiot, i did a 7:35 lap after 5 or 6 tries with a Zonda r and hard racing tyres, fanatec porsche gt2 wheel. It is wayyy to easy and the handling is complete off.

You can bring another 20 excuses, but that doesn't change the fact that this GAME has nothing to do with a simulator.

How hard did you try to spin the car? Did you purposely use hard tires? Take any car, medium sports or even comfort tires and do that at 150KMH. Nothing happens. Then go outside and do it again:-)
