The mustang was meant to compete with the camaro/trans am. Its fords fault for making a shitty 4.6 litre. So dont come in with that bullshit that are engines are too big. If you need something to complain about then you know in the back of your head that ford sucks. You had a supercharger on your side. Thats more then fair enough. And you still lost. Ford is sloww. @Quatermain98526 thats a no brainer dude, the LS-1 is a respectable engine, but when you go putting a motor in around the same weight vehicle yet giving one 1.1L more displacement thats just not fair.

All I said was the LS1 will beat any Mustang before 2011 with the exception of the 2003-2004 Cobras. Basically, the LS1 will defeat any N/A Mustang before 2011.

@AudiS403 Type in the LS1 Camaro's MPG into a google search. I guarantee it will say the auto gets 24-25 and the 6spd manual gets 26-27. Those are average numbers. I have an automatic LS1, and with 100% gasoline (no ethanol) I have gotten 29MPG driving 55MPH. So if your friends are getting 23MPG then their car is seriously modded or is in severe need of a tune up.

I know 3 different people with LS1's and not one of them on a great day with a tale wind get close to 23mph let alone 28! and im not talking about hammering the shit out of them either. to see the C6 Z06 average mid 20's like it does it great..but the heavy less powerful LS1 camaro and firebirds got nowere near that number.

@jusclai You clearly don't know what naturally aspirated means. I said the LS1 will defeat any naturally aspirated Mustang before 2011, the Cobra in 2003 and 2004 had a supercharger genius.
