  • Those are steel strings, right?

  • @PurpleCashew James prefers Hilo strings, which are black nylon. You can find out more on his website.

  • @Outerwebs He uses low A tuning

  • Genius, Incredible technique but remaining a play to be improved better with respect to its ending, I always think this whenever listening to his music. Nevertheless, I respect him and doubtlessly, he is one of the greatest ukulele artists in the world.

  • Wow!!! Amazing!

  • he is amazing.....

  • Salpedi@ I am a fan to you should get a uke he make a how to play a uke book and look for a DVD called the mighty uke

  • Where did he come from?.....never ever heard of him, but NOW, I'm a fan for life!...so, his name is James Hill!.....in the future, I'll keep my eyes and EARS on alert for anything he puts here on youtube. One hell of a talent, do doubt about that!..And, where the heck does he get those arrangements?.. I'd guess, he puts it all together himself!.. I had wondered if his uke was amplified or not...
