Let me put my opinion in this appeasement because just looking at the comments reminds me of the ignorance among many people. Chamberlain's appeasement was nothing wrong, he attempted to avoid a second world war, which had to be avoided as many European nations were rather financially weak due to the debts of World War 1 and economic troubles caused by the great Depression. Hitler violated waged war, but the appeasement allowed Britain to gain ample time in preparations for the war. Simply put
