Touchdown Ted Ginn. Call it whining if you want, but had Ginn not been lost (for all intents and purposes) after the opening kickoff in the NC game, the outcome would've been much different. Would Ohio State have won? Only God knows, but what I do know is that Ginn opened up the whole field and the rest of the Buckeye offense was able to take advantage. Without him, florida was able to stack the line and shut down Ohio State. Could the sweater-vest genius, Jim Tessel, come up with an offense to beat florida without Ted Ginn? Given enough time, absolutely. He did so, in fact, against the miami hurricanes, which was a much better defense than this gator bunch. With Ginn in the game, the offense would've been on the field more, and the defense would've been rested. Doubt my argument? I present the following video in support of my case.....

  • i have to apologize for the music. i'm unable to use disturbed, so i had to choose from an offering of yt music. i tried to find something to fit. not what i wanted, but better than it was.

  • again, i haven't claimed Ginn's presence would've gaurenteed OSU victory, but he certainly would've changed the final score. Ginn gets open quickly, which means that Troy would've been able to get rid of the ball more quickly. also, how do you counter a fast aggressive defense? misdirection. how many reverses did you see in this video? in closing, fla won the game, but it's foolish to think that Ginn would've made no difference.

  • first congrats gator fan, your team won. that's a fact, but as a diehard OSU fan, i can't help but think of what might've been had Ginn not been lost after 1 play. Ginn had 1 touch, and 1 td. i don't think it's unreasonable to think that had Ginn played a full game, OSU would've scored more. consequently, with the Bucks O on the field more, fla's would've been on the field less.

  • That first play was garbage

  • @briankm3 just saying since i glanced at his time possetion has nothing to do with scoring

  • considering he touched the ball once in that game and got 6... Yes you can't argue that point..

  • I too agree that Tedd Ginn would've made a hell of a difference in the NC game against FL.

  • I know its really annoying how he can't catch now

  • wow he could actually catch a pass in college! what a bust
