This was the last performance flight I filmed of the MB-6D. It truly was a marvelous helicopter to fly. Sadly, one month after filming this flight, while performing stunts at a city sponsored RC show the MB-6D tail gave up during a backwards hurricane, 8 feet off the deck resulting on a serious tail crash that forced me to ground it and eventually to an early retirement. The fuselage tail was severely damaged but that was fixed shortly after the crash, however, internal damages to the electronics, airframe and rotorhead were too extensive for me to justify spending money on it at the time and considering that the MB-7 was the star of the show, the MB-6D went to the living room shelf as a static model... Until it was awaken to fly again as the MB-6E model, 10 months later.
@famasdan I guess the key question is "How much are you willing to spend?"
