Recorded by Imperial (Cat. No. 1424, C. 1924), here's a topical song about new technology. The composers overstate the capabilities of the new fangled radio, as it would certainly not be possible to radio back to one's dream broadcaster, even on the advanced model of the era featured here! It is in working order, but is a demon to operate, with three separate tuning dials, numerous other controls & six power hungry valves, 'Dream Girl' would have either signed off the air, (or your lead acid re-chargeable batteries would have gone flat) by the time you got it tuned to your chosen programme!
