Milwaukee's Occupy the Hood organized a march for jobs, and against state senate bill SB207. The march ended in a rally outside the vacant AO Smith factory on Milwaukee's north side.
Thank you for highlighting the prison-industrial complex. OTH is on point when it warns OWS will marginalize issues that affect minority communities. They will do so not out of bad intentions, but because they have a different frame of reference. Many of them may be poor, but they're not pulled over for driving while white; nor are they stopped and frisked. It's vital that groups like OTH be heard.
