Prodigy was a HUGE breakthrough in the late 80's / early 90's. It was among the very first systems that made the internet access for us. E-mailing, shopping/ paying bills online, finding information via the computer at the time were almost completely unheard of.

I did a search for Prodigy to see if any users had taken video of the screen. Not sure if video cameras could take video of the screen that wouldn't be out of focus, however.

Actually, CompuServe came along and eclipsed Prodigy. Later (around 1995), AOL did the same to CompuServe.
