@MasterofPainfulDeath ... No, they wouldn't. Monoliths are nearly immune to Leman Russ fire, and (at least in the tabletop game) I've seen a single monolith take on about 6 Leman Russes and come out without even a Shaken. Check your facts.

All i have to say is that Imperial guard would lose against necrons unless you had a great leader (like Sturnn) with a couple regiments at his command. or else it would be like all the other Necron Massacres that the imperial guard are involved in. Guard have been massacred by Necrons before, leaving it all up to chance. So i choose Chaos, because after we kick the shit out of the Eldar, we are gonna come here because no one can steal our badassness.

Necrons rule, but the good things about IG is they are like a hord, they can call up billions of troops, and dont care if they die and plus the baneblades, but Necrons got the almighty Night Bringer
