Funny because Sichuan is actully the Chinese province with the largest number of ethnic Tibetans residing outside Tibet. Many of the earthquake victims were Tibetans as well.
Half of Sichuan is Tibetan area occupied by China. Part of Gansu, Yunan and whole of Qianghai is Tibetan area along with so called TIbet autonomous Region.
