  • Brilliant!

  • At least someone did it! Reaspect man!

  • Thanx!

  • thankies tom

  • Ur a Live Beast... thanks Tom.

  • is it possible to manually correct the tempo ableton reads a song at if for instance it was read incorrectly?

  • One of the things I've always liked more about Reason as opposed to Ableton was the toolbar that allows you to very intricately adjust the parameters of various points. Getting points to be exactly where I want them in Ableton was always such a pain. This is a great tip, not just for tempo changes, but volume, panning, etc. THANKS A MILLION!

  • Amazing little tip Tom! It really shows your intimacy with Live. I don't think I would have thought of this for a long long time. Now I want to see if I can use this technique myself. Also, nice tease you did there, not letting us hear the complete effect of the tempo warp, ha! Well I have this track's Live Set so I suppose I can check it out myself.

  • nice shit, like always

  • A lot of reasons actually. Not just in the area tempo either, but for any automated setting. For one, it's a lot easier to sync with even numbers than decimal points. Aesthetically it can be more pleasing. Main reason I like this concept though is because if I'm working with a lot of changes, it's difficult to get the numbers exactly where I want them to stay consistent. They go to a random series of intervals. I'm very particular about making each sound go where I want them. That's why.
