Nadal was indeed a superstar in 2005, and not only on clay... he won a career-best 3 titles on normal courts, and ended the year as World No. 2... it's undeniable that he was a superstar...

@911801111801 NEVER REALLY is NOT NEVER !
It means NOT MUCH !!
So you get your English right !
And in 05, Nadal was a superstar on CLAY !
So you need to get your research right as well !! :D

Don't twist words to make you sound well...
you said: ''Soderling and Berdych have NEVER REALLY troubled Nadal''
Nadal was a superstar by 2005...
''It's like saying Hewitt troubles Federer just because he won 7 of their first 9 matches''
He doesn't trouble Federer TODAY... but back then he did... you couldn't have said it better... do you know the meaning of the word NEVER?
I realized that you don't need to research facts... you need to study the english language...

@911801111801 Berdych last beat Nadal in Madrid 06 ! Nadal was not a complete player back then as he is now. Its like saying Hewitt troubles Federer just because he won their 7 of their first 9 matches ? Lol!
And Soderling , yeah , he did beat Nadal at the RG 09 and WTF 09, but that was that ! He has destroyed Soderling ever since !
So your the one who needs to do you so called 'Research' !

''Soderling and Berdych have never really troubled Nadal''
Soderling has a couple of wins against Nadal, including being the only one, so far, to have beaten Nadal at Roland Garros...
And Berdych won 3 of the first 4 encounters against Nadal, before going onto lose 10 straight matches to him...
Do your research, if you're going to talk with base!!!!

And Hewitt...

@TheFedererNadallover Federer is the second most talented player behind Federer in the post Agassi/Sampras era. Quite a few experts think Safin is actually MORE talented than Federer, but he had problems with motivation and injuries. Everytime he started playing well, he would get injured. I really think that could have been the best rivalry of all time, the Safin Federer rivarly.

@TheFedererNadallover you're the only one choking mate, on your own words lol look at it this way, Soderling and Berdych beat Djokovic and Federer during the Roland Garros-Wimby season, as well as went to five sets against each other in the SF of Roland Garros. Both ended up reaching a grand slam final during that time frame - they were both playing great tennis, better than anyone else was playing except Rafa. Rafa was up against two great opponents, and he just found a way to beat them

@imavaughanstar Maybe not Berdych crushing Djokovic like the way he did , but Djokovic was not the Big Favourite in that match .. ! So it wasn't a monster upset or anything of that sort ! And Federer beat Murray in both slam finals where Murray imo , choked ! cunthole :P
I cant believe this guy has got 34 thumbs up for insulting this poor fellow who's just trying to cheer his little heart out. What is wrong with you people?

@tapobonn That way even i can say Nadal had no challenge in 2010 .. he beat Soderling , Berdych and a tired Djokovic in the respective GS finals ? And why do u say Del potro isn't good.. back in 09 .. he was deadly..!! And so were Roddick and Safin in 03-05
